Elmgarden has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
This very tall Mirror has a bright Gilt Frame, it is made of carved wood and Gesso with an attractive top decoration with urns full of flowers over a rose on either side and a shield shaped armorial crest in the centre held by flying birds.

The mirror frame dates from the mid 19th century, the glass seems to be original and has only a little foxing and the frame has had occasional repairs over the years but they have been very sympathetically done and it retains its genuine aged attractiveness

The Mirror is 64” high and it is 35” wide, the frame is 4” deep and the overall depth of the mirror taking in to account the forward angle of the birds is 8”
