Large Bank of 16 Oak Filing Drawers

1900 - 1920
Description

Fantastic large bank of filing drawers from the early 20th Century. Each drawer has its original brass plate handle with hooked pull handle and slot for a label. The drawers are well proportioned and although originally designed for index cards, would be suitable for a variety of purposes.

They are in excellent condition. They have been cleaned and lightly waxed and the handles gently polished to retain their authentic aged look. The inside of the drawers are generally clean and tidy and they all open and close smoothly. There are a few small knocks and scuffs as to be expected with age but nothing that concerns us.
