In A Nutshell Antiques and Interiors has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
It is in good condition throughout. It has been stripped and given a smooth waxed finish while retaining its authentic aged patina. The shelves inside are believed to be original and as such have been left. They are clean and strudy however there are some historic woodworm holes.
The drawers run smoothly and each drawer has been given a new base and new runners. The outer of the Linen Press is generally clean and in good original condition. There are some small splits in the sides of the base but nothing to concern us.
