Description

A 19th Century Kingwood Veneered Side Table, Writing Table, Work Table.

The leather surface set within a kingwood chevron cross banded border and rounded mould edge. The frieze set to one side with drawer with interior divisions, and to another side with a leather inset brushing slide. The frieze cross banded with chevroned inlay in rectangular panels, joining the f our gently cruved tapering legs, finished with brass rising and scrolled leaf sabots.

Date c 1850.
