Superb Antique Edwardian Mahogany Breakfront Clothes Press Wardrobe Armoire C1900 by Maples & Son

Fantastic antique edwardian breakfront clothes press by maples and dating from aorund 1900. This beautiful piece is crossbanded in mahogany with satinwood and ebony inlaid stringing. It is mahogany lined including the drawers and has its original brassware. An excellent quality piece with more details & photographs on request.

Brief description:

It has a flared cornice top above a dep mahogany frieze with inlaid stringing. To the left side is a full length narrow panelled door (with false drawer fronts) and with internal hanging rail and adjustable shelves (the shelves can be removed for full hanging space). To the right is a narrow panelled door with three adjustable shelves and three small drawers below. To the breakfront centre there are two panelled doors with internal hanging rail and sliding tray to the base.there are three long graduating drawers to the centre all of which are mahogany lined with fabulous cross banded mahogany fronts and corners and strung with ebony & satinwood. It stands on a deep plinth base and is mahogany lined with mahogany back. It splits into six pieces for ease of transporting.
