Victorian Sofa, Chesterfield in Golden Fabric C.1890

Description

This is an antique, Victorian sofa dating to c.1890.

In a classic Chesterfield style this sofa offers a deep seat and good padding to the back and arms, currently finished in a golden damask fabric.

Raised on tapered square section legs the front of the seat is gently bow fronted complimenting the out-turned scrolls of the arms.

Traditionally stuffed and well sprung the upholstery is in good order, under close inspection seat coverings showing light marks consistent with age & use, but could be easily recovered to suit any décor.

Solid joints offering a stable and comfortable seat, delivered ready for the home.
