Large Regency Swing Mirror or Toilet Mirror

19th century
Description

A handsome large antique Regency mahogany swing mirror dating from circa 1810. The mahogany frame with reeded supports topped with turned brass finials standing on reeded outswept feet. With rectangular mirror plate in swing frame with brass fittings with acanthus carved bottom stretcher. With original mirror plate, wonderfully aged with foxing around the edges.

Mahogany

Condition Report:

Good condition. Mirror plate is original and wonderfully aged around the edges. The knobs to the side are modern replacements. Frame fairly solid. Other wear and marks commensurate with age.
