The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1940s.
The same calibre of movement was also used in some of the Rolex military watches in the 1940s, known as the Rolex 548 calibre. This particular movement is ticking away nicely and working well. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is nickel and it is in good condition, as is the lens.
The signed dial has some damage at number 4 but otherwise looks good.
The watch comes with a single watch albert, 34cm long including the T-bar and the clasp.
