19th Century mahogany secretaire bookcase with a stepped cornice above two large glazed doors with the glass decorated with carved vine branches, the doors opening to reveal three adjustable shelves, the base section having a secretaire drawer with original turned knobs and beading around the drawer front, the drawer opening to reveal a lovely fitted interior with various drawers and compartments, with a tan brown leather writing surface with gold tooling, with a two door cupboard below with the panels having lovely carved decoration, opening to reveal a single shelf inside, standing on a plinth base. Circa 1860.
