A stunning profusely carved 19th Century Chinese rosewood cabinet, with a pagoda top above a glazed single hinged door with the top of the door decorated with a carved bat and carved floral decoration, the rest of the cabinet comprising of various compartments, cupboards and drawers, with the large central door opening to reveal a single shelf inside, decorated with lovely quality pierced fret decoration, the panels, including the sides, having various carvings of flowers, bamboo and animals including cockerels, wild boars, peacocks and various birds, standing on small cabriole legs united by a carved and pierced fret apron. Circa 1880.
