Description

An antique 1903 Waltham Traveler pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working well. The movement is signed American Waltham USA, Traveler and it has the serial number 12969535 which dates it back to 1903. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50.7mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and is the Empress model by the American Watch Case Company. The case has handsome engine turned detail to the back with a central vacant cartouche. The case has some wear to the engine turned detail and the odd mild bruise to the back but ovreall it is in nice condition for a 1900s piece.

The watch glass is in nice condition.

The enamel dial is signed Waltham U.S.A. and is in good condition with just a couple of tiny nibbles under the bezel.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.
