Description

A 1920s Swiss pocket watch originally retailed by Doidges Blackpool.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working well. The movement is signed Doidges, Blackpool, 17 jewels Swiss made. The micro regulator disc has gone missing over the years.

The watch measures 50.7mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is the Star model made by the Dennison Watch Case Company and was originally Guaranteed to wear 10 years. The case has light surface marks from use but overall it is in nice condition.

The watch glass is in good order.

The dial is is signed Doidges Blackpool. The dial is in beautiful condition and has blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
