Description

Pretty as a picture, this exquisite square frame is made from solid English sterling silver hallmarked for Birmingham 1907, Edwardian in era; the makers initials also present for the well renowned, Henry Matthews.

The backing and hinged folding support are velvet covered. The aperture to the front is inset with a beautiful period piece of polished Tortoiseshell, creating a stunning contrast to the silver; the aperture measures 2 1/4" in diameter ready to take your favourite photo.

The front is beautifully engraved with a pretty ribbon and bow garland.

A real beauty in excellent condition; the overall size measuring 4 1/4" square.
