The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1890s.
The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed and it has the serial number 7,897,428 which dates it back to 1896. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside the acrylic lens is in good condition.
The signed white enamel dial has a couple of faint hairline cracks, each approximately 1cm long. Blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
