Good Regency Bracket Clock C 1800

Description

A good Regency bracket clock, the ebonized pear-wood case of restrained architectural form, with a stepped and chamfered pediment above a fluted frieze. The main case with convex glass and rounded cast bezil above a fluted bottom band, and plinth base, raised on four small block feet. The sides with glass panels and the rear with glazed door. The dial, silvered with Roman numeral chapter ring, original heart-shaped hands, and dial engraved for "Hay, Davies St, Berkeley Square, London." The double fusee movement striking on a bell, with pull repeat, and the back plate likewise engraved for "Hay, Davies St, Berkeley Square."

In good running order.
