A Rosewood and Ormolu Mounted Regency Period Library Cabinet.

Description

A rosewood and ormolu mounted Regency Period library cabinet. Having a grey veined marble rectangular top above a rosewood veneered frieze with a fine ormolu central appliqué and acanthus ormolu mounts and harps to the pilasters. The rectangular rosewood doors with brass grilles and mesh, opening to reveal ten mahogany lined drawers with brass swan neck handles. Raised on a rosewood veneered plinth and with solid rosewood sides. English circa 1820

dimensions: 54.5" high x 47" wide x 18" deep

Condition: This cabinet is in excellent condition, the grilles and mesh have been replaced.
