Description

A very collectable, unusual and rare SOLID SILVER EGG CUP made in the form of an Acorn. The egg cup was made by John Thomas Heath & John Hartshorne Middleton (for Hukin & Heath) in 1886 and is in pristine condition. The 'acorn' cup is accompanied by an oak leaf and stands on finely made silver 'twigs'. The gilt interior to the cup and to the leaf decoration are still vibrant despite the 130 years of age of this lovely and unusual piece.

A superb collectors piece, in fabulous condition which would enhance any collection.
