Antique French Louis Inlaid Maple & Ormolu Wardrobe Armoire C1880

Description

Gorgeous antique french louis maple and ormolu mounted wardrobe armoire dating from around 1880. It has a serpentine cornice top with ormolu gilt mount to the centre above a central bevelled mirrored door with inlaid stringing and with ormolu mounts to either side of the mirror and with door to either side with inlaid panels to the top of rosewood,mahogany and fruitwood. It has its original gilt handles and escutcheons and stands on a plinth base. To either side of the wardrobe there is an ormolu mount. Internally there is a shelf to the top with hanging rails below.

A beautiful quality wardrobe armoire

Measures: 85" high X 20" deep X internal depth 17" X 68" wide
