A Profusely Carved Indian Hardwood Table

Description

This amazing piece of furniture has an incredible amount of detail mostly in the form of flowers and leaves with the addition of scales carved into the edge of the top. The underside bears a label which states "Jubbar Khan and Son, State Carvers and Papier Mache Makers, 3rd Bridge, Srinagar Kashmir" In very good and original condition. 600mm high, 760mm wide and 760mm deep. Circa 1860
