Antique Early Victorian Carved Mahogany Salon Armchair C1860

Description

Lovely antique victorian carved mahogany salon armchair dating from around 1860. Reupholstered in a pale green raised velvet in very good condition with original horsehair upholstery. It has a shaped back with scroll arms with beautifully carved mahogany front supports and a deep padded seat with serpentine shaped front with carved crest to the centre and it stands on heavy carved cabriole legs on castors.

A beautiful chair

Measures: 38" hgh X seat height 15" X 35" deep X 28" wide
