Description

A burr Walnut Victorian Period antique wellington chest made by A.J. Gilham, Canterbury, Kent. Having a stepped top veneered in beautifully figured burr walnut with a walnut moulded edge and burr walnut frieze. The chest having an arrangement of eight mahogany lined drawers each veneered in the finest burr walnut and retaining the original walnut drawer pulls. Having double chamfered walnut locking pilasters, with walnut sides and supported on a walnut veneered plinth. Manufacturers brass plate to the second drawer. English circa 1870

Dimensions: 23" wide x 15" deep x 49" high

Condition: This wellington chest is in excellent condition
