Pair of Antique Pot Cupboards C.1930's

1920 - 1940
Description

A pair of antique pine pot cupboards, also known as bedside cupboards, in the bare wood ready for waxing or painting. Dating from 1930's in very good condition for their age.

The name "Pot Cupboards" came about due to the nature of their use. The owner of the cupboard would have kept their potty inside the cupboard by the side of their bed - "bedside cupboard." Nowadays we use them by the side of our beds with a lamp on top and to store books etc . This pair have a drawer at the top and a single shelved cupboard below, both with the orginal wooden knobs.

The price includes our professional waxing service, or you can buy them as they are for a reduced price of £260
