Antique Georgian Oak Bureau C1780

Description

Antique georgian oak bureau dating from around 1780 with very nice interior. The fall front opens to reveal a small central door with small drawer behind and to either side is a reeded bookend column (secret compartments). Beneath the door is a small draer with ebony stringing and to either side of that is a serpentine drawer with pigen holes above. There are two furtjher stepped drawers with pigeon holes above. The base has two short drawers over three graduating drawers all of which are oak lined with original handles and escutcheons. This lovely bureau is all original and in very good condition although there is a slight ocmpression mark to one of the top drawers.
