19th.c. Regency Style Overmantle Mirror C.1880.

Description

Handsome late 19th.c. Regency style triple plate overmantle mirror c.1880. Three bevelled mirror plates set within a fine gilt frame featuring flared cornice with applied spheres over a moulded anthemion motif frieze and a pair of classical half columns. Original gilding worn to a lovely mellow colour, original ebonised slip frame and mirror plates. Minor tarnish to the plates (most obvious in the top right hand corner) and some minor wear to the gilding. Otherwise excellent condition.
