Set 6 Dutch Empire Elm Dining Chairs. Circa 1810

Description

Most attractive set of six early 19th. century Dutch Empire figured golden elm dining chairs with brass line inlaid curved top rails with inset ebony diamond, finely carved splats and standing on elegant sabre legs with reeded decoration. All doweled construction. All in fine original condition with no breaks or damage. Wonderful golden colour with fine waxed patina.

Size; 36" high overall, 19" high to seats, 20" wide at front, 17" deep.
