Description

An unusual English Victorian novelty brass owl brush wipe, nicely moulded with original glass eyes and egg-shaped amethyst coloured glass insert to owl's back and some of the original gilding remains. Original brush sits below on brass base, circa 1880.

Height: 3 1/2" (approx 9cm)

Diameter of brush: 2 1/4" (approx 5.75cm)

Total weight: 106g

First one of this model that we have come across, would look fabulous on the desk and would make a superb addition to any collection.
