Description

A stylish pair of antique Regency side chairs in Biedermeier style. Good colour and figuring to the frames, a mixture of flame mahogany veneers and oak. With curved top rails and bar backs, with deep curved front seat rails with beautifully figured mahogany veneer, they stand on outswept sabre legs to the front and back. The drop in seats haves been newly reupholstered in a stone coloured faux suede fabric. Solid and sturdy, with good original patina. Dating from circa 1830.
