Antique Furniture Direct has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
The cupboard locks and comes with a key. The drawers have attractive drop handles (period replacements) and it stands on slim tapered square legs which terminate in ceramic casters. A really stylish and useful item that would make a great music cabinet, collectors chest, hall unit or filing cabinet.

General wear and marks commensurate with age. One of the drawers has an old mend to one of the hinges to the drawer. The handles are replacements and there are marks where old screws holes have been filled in (see photos). Cupboard lacking shelves to interior.
