Description

An unusual late Victorian stool, the seat in the form of a large carved scallop shell and standing on 4 cabriole legs with "X" frame shaped stretchers. The design of this stool was probably influenced by the Venetian Grotto furniture makers of the 18th.& 19th. Century. In very good useable condition. Size:- Height...20.5''...52cm. Width...17.5''...44.5cm. Depth...16''...41cm. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £28. We have another very similar stool/seat available in our inventory by Edwards & Roberts which can be seen in these photos.
