Fine Quality Victorian Mahogany Breakfront Wardrobe

A very fine quality mid 19th Century mahogany breakfront wardrobe fully restored and lined.

This antique wardrobe breaks into five sections for ease of transport and placing in the home.

The breakfront shaped and moulded cornice with a veneered frieze sits over a mirror panelled central door with carved corbels and recessed pilaster column sides with plinth bottom which opens to reveal the original pullout slides (these can always be removed if needed and it can be lined like each side compartments for further hanging space) and fitted drawers.

Flanking this either side are a pair of recessed mahogany doors again with corbels each having a recessed and crossbanded edge fielded central panel with recessed pilaster columned sides and a plinth bottom. Each door opens to reveal a newly lined hanging compartment with one having a shoe drawer.

All three doors are beautifully veneered in a choice mahogany with the mirror in excellent condition and each retain their original gadrooned wooden handles and locks.

This antique wardrobe dating to circa 1850 is superb quality and in excellent fully restored condition ready to go into the home having a very good rich mahogany colour.
