A Fine Quality Large Mahogany Edwardian Period Open Bookcase

1900 - 1920
Description

A fine quality large mahogany Edwardian Period open bookcase. The rectangular solid mahogany top having a shaped mahogany gallery with ebony line inlaid detail, cross banded in fiddleback mahogany and with satinwood banding. The front has three rectangular mahogany lined drawers again banded in fiddleback mahogany and with their original mahogany drawer pulls. With an arrangement of six adjustable mahogany shelves separated by inlaid pilasters, the whole supported on eight finely carved and turned feet. English circa 1900-1910

Dimensions: 81" wide x 15" deep x 50" high (shelves 13" deep)

Condition: This bookcase is in excellent original condition, cleaned and waxed
