Vintage 1928 Waltham Traveler Half Hunter Pocket Watch

Vintage 1928 Waltham Traveler half hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working well. The movement is signed and it also has the serial number 26522715 which dates it back to 1928. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch itself measures 50.7mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and was made by the English based watch case maker Aaron Dennison (who used to work for Waltham in the US). This case has black Roman numerals to the front cover. The case has light surface marks from use but overall it is in nice condition.

The back cover has monogrammed initials and is dated 5th September 1930.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. The inner lens is in good condition. The white enamel dial is signed Waltham U.S.A. The dial has a faint hairline crack under the sub second dial although hardly noticeable but otherwise it is in nice condition.

The watch has blued steel hands.
