An Antique Waltham Bond Street Full Hunter Pocket Watch

1900 - 1920
Description

An antique Waltham Bond Street full hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working well. The movement is signed A M Watch Co, Waltham, Mass, Bond St and it has the serial number 20212642 which dates it back to 1915. The movement is protected by an inner hinged dust cover.

The watch measures 47.8mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is the Moon model from Dennison, "English make Guaranteed to be made of two plates of 10K gold with plate of composition between and to wear 20 years". The winding crown pushes in and then the front cover can be opened with your thumbnail. The case has light surface marks from use and the odd small "ding" to the back but overall is very acceptable for an antique piece.

The plastic lens is in nice condition.

The signed dial is in nice condition and it has its original blued steel hands.

Price includes worldwide postage.
