Description

This antique French marble top three drawer commode is a stunning piece of furniture. Just enlarge all the images to appreciate all the fine features, like the figuring of the wood, the well cast gilt mounts of interesting designs, the floral inlays, the interesting handle, etc, etc. I particularly like the classical gilt bronze heads all around the tops of the legs. I would date this piece to around the 1910-20's period & it is totally original all over, plus it's in excellent condition including the marble top, which is also original & just lifts off. The top drawer is baize lined with some partitions. All three drawers have locks.
