Georgian Battersea Enamel Patch Box. Circa 1775

Description

Rare George III Battersea enamel oval patch box. The lid with hand painted decoration of a shepherdess. Lovely deep green body. Still retains its original mirror inside lid which unfortunately is cracked. Slight damage to lid and some crazing to body. A most unusual image on lid.
