Georgian Oak Longcase Clock. Circa 1790

Description

Attractive George III oak longcase or grandfather clock with arch brass dial having eight day striking movement by Gilbert Kidd of Malton (N. Yorkshire). The case in fine original condition except old replacement feet. Fine rich colour with great waxed patina. The movement has recently been fully overhauled and is in full working order. Comes with all keys.

Size; 81" high, 20" wide at hood cornice, 10" deep at hood cornice. 12" wide dial.
