In A Nutshell Antiques and Interiors has dated this piece to the 1920s.
Each section can hold about 3-4 books depending on the size.
There is a plaque on the bottom of the bookcase which says "Rd. At The Patent Office. Designs Branch. No 245908.
Overall it is in good condition with no damages. There is however some staining and old water marks on the top of the bookcase (see photo). It revolves well and is a good sturdy practical piece.
