Large Gilt Frame Mirror C.1890.

19th century
Description

Well proportioned late 19th.c. gilt framed mirror c.1890. Later 25" x 33" mirror plate with a bevelled edge in a broad gilt frame with leaf pattern carving. Of superior quality, the corners of the frame are cast in metal, an unusual feature which has preserved them from the damage usually suffered over the years. A little minor wear to the frame, generally excellent condition. Could be hung either portrait or landscape aspect.
