Description

Rare & Stunning Victorian Period walnut antique conversation settee. The upper section with four deep buttoned oval padded back rests, surmounted by a turned walnut finial and with finely carved floral detail to the frame. The lower seat section again with traditional deep buttoned upholstered seats, newly re-upholstered in a duck egg blue British velvet. The seat rail of serpentine form again with finely carved floral detail supported on four elegant acanthus carved cabriole supports with brass castors. English circa 1860

Dimensions: 45" high x 62" wide (seat heights 15")

Condition: This conversation settee is in stunning condition, newly re-upholstered by a traditional upholsterer using horsehair and re-webbed completely. Duck egg blue fabric from British Velvets.
