Georgian Provincial Oak Table, C.1750

Description

This is an antique, 18th century, provincial side table dating to c.1750.

Raised on slender, tapering, turned legs terminating in out-turned pad feet, the front feet are decorated with relief foliate carving.

The serpentine apron is heavily carved with scrolls and foliate detail complimenting the drawer front which is dressed with brass drop handles, the lock and key absent.

The planked top is plain with a simple edge carving. Full of country charm and character, the oak has good colour and a desirable aged patina throughout.

Solid Joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
