Silver Antiques Online has dated this piece to the Georgian era.
It has wonderfully detailed branches running around the bowl with stunning leaves adorning the stems and is then finished with a delicate double dotted design which in turn frames the bowl beautifully. The stem handle is crafted in the fiddle pattern which was typical of the Georgian period and again has lovely bright cut engraving running up the stem and finished at the top with a matching double border of dotted engraving. The quality of the craftsmanship is as you would expect superb being crafted by Joseph Willmore.

This wonderful piece would have once belonged to a wealthy Georgian Family and used daily in a time when tea drinking was an Art and very expensive.
This will add something very special to any collection.
