An Antique Waltham Full Hunter Pocket Watch

Description

An antique Waltham full hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working well. The movement is signed and the serial number 7,922,878 dates it back to 1896. This serial number also tells us that the movement is the Bond Street grade although it is not signed as such. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 51mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is 14k gold filled and was originally ‘guaranteed to wear 25 years’. The case is in lovely condition.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside is an acrylic lens which is in good condition over a signed white enamel dial. The dial is in very nice condition and has blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
