Completely original this good example incorporates all the features that makes Gillows so famous which include: original baluster gallery; original tooled leather writing surface; fitted interior with 2 small drawers; large slides to both sides; hinged pen-and-ink drawer (with original ink bottles & lids!); three long drawers; melon-carved feet with original castors, and the whole top slides forward when in use. * Illustrated in "Gillows of London & Lancaster" by Susan Stuart.
