A Gents Ww1 Silver Marvin Trench Watch

1900 - 1920
Description

A gents WW1 silver Marvin trench watch.

The watch has a Swiss hand-winding movement which is working well. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 32.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the fixed wire lugs. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the hinged case back for Glasgow (import mark), 1914. The case is in good condition for its age with just minor marking from use.

The lens has a short 1mm scratch towards the centre but not too noticeable to the naked eye.

The white enamel dial has a couple of hairline cracks but fairly faint.

A new black leather strap has been fitted.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
