A Vintage 1919 Elgin Full Hunter Pocket Watch

1900 - 1920
Description

A vintage 1919 Elgin full hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a grade 292 stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The signed movement has the serial number 22346627 which dates it back to 1919. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50.6mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The 14 ct gold filled case was made by the Keystone watch case company and was originally guaranteed to wear for 25 years. The case has engraved foliate detail to the front and back with a vacant cartouche to the front. The case has light surface marking from use but overall it is in nice condition.

The winding crown pushes in to release the front cover. The plastic lens is in good condition.

The white enamel dial is signed Elgin U.S.A and has a faint hairline crack to the edge of the sub second dial although hardly noticeable but overall it is in nice condition.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.

Price includes worldwide postage.
