Georgian Oak Longcase Clock. Circa 1820

18th century
Description

Good Scottish Georgian oak cased longcase or grandfather clock with painted dial and having eight day striking movement by J. Lorrimer of Dunbar. The case is all in fine original condition except bottom third of back has been replaced at some time. Fine rich colour with great waxed patina. The movement has recently been fully overhauled and if in perfect working order. Note the original painted pendulum and iron weights. Comes with all keys,

Size; 83" high, 20" wide at base hood, 10" deep at base hood.
