17th. Century Elm Thrown Chair. Circa 1680

Description

Rare late 17th. century elm thown child's chair with solid pine seat. The back with well turned parts and standing on pole legs with turned stretchers and turned front rails. All in fine original condition except legs have worn down a bit. Wonderful honey colour with superb waxed patina. Probably Scottish.

Size; 32" high. 20" wide, 16" deep. 12" high to seat.
