Beautiful suite of late 19th.c. bedroom furniture by Maison Krieger of Paris. Comprising armoire, double bed, pair of bedside cabinets and a side cabinet with marble top and fitted interior. Of superior quality, in sparkling satin birch veneers with fine carved columns and detail. The whole suite is in excellent condition, having been cleaned and polished in our workshops.

Armoire: Beautiful narrow wardrobe or armoire. Single mirrored door opening to reveal an interior of five adjustable shelves (which could be easily removed for hanging space) and a single drawer, with another drawer in the base. Superb decorative design in sparkling satin birch veneers, with a heavily moulded and crossbanded arched cornice topped with two beautifully carved thistle head finials. Shaped and bevelled mirror door panel in a crossbanded frame with bead mouldings and carved roundels, flanked on each side with a fine pair of turned, fluted and twist carved columns. Birch lined interior, crossbanded drawer front and sides, turned and fluted feet. Clear maker’s stamp on the rear for Maison Krieger of Paris.

Double Bed: Very handsome satin birch double bed. With tall shaped head and foot boards each with concentric mouldings and crossbandings, both ends flanked with a fine pair of turned and fluted columns topped with crisply carved finials. Further carved floral details, crossbanded sides, turned and fluted feet. To take a standard double mattress.

Pair Bedside Tables: Fine pair of matching marble top bedside tables. Each with a white marble top over a single drawer and open shelf, below which one has a cabinet whilst the other is left open. Fabulous decorative design in sparkling satin birch with turned and fluted columns, crisply carved floral detail, crossbanded door panel and sides, bead mouldings and turned feet.

Side Cabinet or Linen Press: Elegant satin birch and marble top side cabinet or linen press. Original white marble top with a moulded edge over a single long drawer and two door cupboard fitted with three sliding shelves. Fabulous decorative front in sparkling satin birch with a fine pair of turned and fluted columns, crisply carved floral detail, crossbanded door panels (repeated on the sides), bead mouldings and turned and fluted front feet. Birch lined interior with oak drawer linings, the top drawer being divided into three.
