Description

Signed oil on canvas by the well listed artist Pierre Abattucci (1871-1942). Abattucci was a neo-impressionist artist of landscapes and portraits. He was a student at the Institute of Arts in Brussels and at the Academy of Arts.

Paintings in the Museum of Ixelles, Mons and St-Josse-ten-Noode (museum Charlier). Well listed at auction achieving high prices at auction.

The landscape shows a row of poplars an is painted using subtle tones. It is mounted in an attractive wooden frame an dates from around 1900-1920

Both painting and frame are in excellent condition.
