Mytton Antiques - Jerrard Nares has dated this piece to the 1850s.
Each glass with a circular tapering bowl, decorated with a band of vertical slice cut fluting, the bowls tapering to a ring socle, above the tapered and knopped stem, which rests likewise on a ring socle. The circular spreading foot sloping slightly downward.
In very good condition and excellent size for claret.
Date c 1850.
Height 6 inches, diameter 3 1/4 inches.
